This project in Sunapee, NH was installed improperly by the first contractor. The base layer was inadequate and site drainage issues had not been considered. The result - the thin base layer was washed away during a storm and the walk collapsed. The entire walk was lifted, the base layer reconstructed, and the pavers relaid. The drainage was addressed by the addition of a catch basin and pipes that directed the water away from the yard. Topsoil was spread and the yard was regraded.
